Programming in the IEC languages the platform supports, with a preference for structured text where the logic is arithmetic and ladder where an electrician will have to read it during a breakdown.

Modbus integration

A large share of Modicon work is integration: instruments, drives and third-party skids on Modbus. Register maps get documented properly, because an undocumented Modbus map is a fault waiting to happen at three in the morning.
