Packaging

Filling, sealing, cartoning and end-of-line equipment — where cycle time, format changeover and clean recovery after a stop decide whether the line makes its numbers.

Packaging lines are judged on availability, and availability is mostly decided by how the machine behaves in the seconds after something goes wrong.

Recovery after a stop

The difference between a good and a bad packaging machine is rarely top speed. It is whether an operator can clear a jam and restart without emptying the machine by hand. That is a programming decision, made early.

Format changeover

Recipe-driven changeover with parameters held in structured recipes rather than typed into a settings screen from a paper list. Every value that changes with the format belongs in the recipe, including the ones people forget — timers, offsets, servo positions.

Line data

Counts, downtime reasons and cycle time per station, logged at the machine and made available to whatever system your plant uses. Real OEE, not an estimate.
